She is in her sixth year of teaching and her second year in West Haven, teaching Kindergarten Learning Lab at Seth Haley. She loves the people she works with, both staff and students. She enjoys crafts and traveling, and aims to visit 45 of 50 states.

She holds a master’s degree in Education from the University of Hartford and is in her second year teaching Special Education. She previously worked as a Registered Behavior Technician supporting students with autism. She enjoys writing, traveling, & family time.

For 32 years, she has loved being a paraprofessional, building lifelong friendships while supporting teachers and students across all grade levels. She enjoys reading, cooking for her family, traveling, and seeing Broadway shows—Maine is her happy place!

A first-year school social worker, she earned her BA from Albertus Magnus College and her master’s from SCSU. She enjoys exercising, reading, following the Yankees and UConn basketball, spending time with family and dogs, and being back at her alma mater.
