To celebrate Read Across America Week, Seth Haley Elementary held Spirit Week. For 2nd graders, yesterday’s theme was “Oh, the Places You’ll Go When You Read” and students dressed up as what they would like to be when they grow up!

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝟭𝟵𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 | Over the past 19 years, K-12 students from all over Connecticut have had the opportunity to submit their creative writing, poetry, and prose for the annual Celebration of Young Writers. This is a great opportunity for students to submit their pieces of work and compete against students from all over Connecticut. The top selects will earn an award and the opportunity to perform their piece of work. This event is completely free! Please click the link below to view the flyer and learn more about the event.
